Rainy & wonderfully cool for late August, I stopped by Central Park to see Strawberry Fields.
After leaving the Staten Island Ferry, I checked out Battery Park. This is a construction fence that I just had to get a shot with! It reminded me SO much of part of the artwork I designed on the back cover of our VooDoo Suns CD!
Most of the Taxi rides were great. I won't talk about the others.

Ran into one of my FAVORITE people in the whole world, Stephen Colbert & his friend, NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg while they were taping a bit for the Colbert Report! Aug. 2007

Due to the rain, the show was moved indoors at Lamotta's Waterside. It didn't seem to bother us that much!
Big mahalos to Sam Fox for putting all of this together & to the band Gary Kroman, Larry Vedilago, Craig Peyton, Eric Salzman & Steve Finkelstein. 

The mosaic is a replica of a famous mosaic in Pompeii and was a gift from Naples, Italy.
The only change from the original is the inclusion of "Imagine" in the center of the mosaic.
